Hello, and thank you for visiting 'Stacey Paints!'
If you are reading this past June 2025 it has now been 11 years since I started posting pics online of my various paintings and drawings, never did I think it would transpire into an actual business spanning all of these years!
If you have been with me for some time, you may remember I used to be 'Roocey Rocket Art'. I fancied a little rebrand and went with a name that does what it says on the tin!
I'm 30 something Mom of 2 living in the West Midlands. I love anything crafty and colourful, and am at my happiest at my art desk with coffee and a podcast!

For 9 years I painted for a living, it worked really well around having small children, I painted in any spare moment I had, nap times, school hours and at night when they'd be asleep. When Covid hit in 2020, the volume of orders that were coming through completely rocketed. I found it so difficult to get everything done when the world went back to 'normal' and I couldn't stay in painting all day everyday. Sadly, I just couldn't keep up and decided getting a job would be a good idea.
Now I work part time in my 'serious' job, and fill in my days off, evenings and weekends with this, my fun job!
For all of those 9 years, my work was mostly custom orders (which I LOVED!).
Like everyone else, our life is always super busy and I don't have the time
to commit soley to custom orders anymore. I want my website to be my creative corner of the internet, dedicated to one off, unique pieces that I have designed, drawn and decorated.
I can still take a limited number of custom orders, please fill in a form on the 'contact' tab, or reach out via E-mail/ social media.
So what can you expect to from me?
Beautiful, colourful, paintings and peg dolls that are truly unique.
I have an eye for detail, and am a perfectionist when it comes to my makes. Only the best will do, and they'll be 'anything but basic' (ABB). I only paint things light up the creative bit of my brain, things that I love and think you will too.
They are usually vibrant and if I can add glitter, I most definitley will!
I'm old school, a big BIG lover of pencils and paint. Acrylic being my fave.
Nothing excites me like starting a new project from scratch with just an idea.
I always enjoy the process of bringing it to life, and the end result is just the cherry on top!

The timeline...
How it all started back in 2014, a weeny box of paints and a few old brushes.
Letters became my bestseller in 2015 and I had the chance to paint loads of different designs!
2016, the Christmas of baubles! I must have made hundreds that year!
Moved house in 2017 and got my very own art room! My desk was always chaotic! (Not much has changed!)
2018, held a Christmas craft stall, it was a success!
2019 - started to experiment with more designs and styles.
2020 was the year my business picked up faster than it ever had before. It was a great way to fill all the time spent locked in!
Business continued to boom in 2021 and reindeer baubles became more popular than ever before!
STILL business continued to boom! This day I recieved boxes of blanks that had to be painted and sent within a week. Most weeks were like this, it was great fun but very hard to keep up! I think 2022 may have been my busiest year, I sent more orders abroad than in the UK.
In 2023 I decided to get a job and slow my business down. This was also the year I got into peg dolls!
2024, I realised how much I'd missed crafting and started getting back behind my desk. I even did a Christmas Fayre!
The present day... Absolutley obsessed with peg dolls, the mission to become a peg doll extraodinaire continues. I have definitely found my passion for painting again.
